Join NOW Yoga and Jamie King for 108 Sun Salutations!

108 is a sacred number. It connects the sun, moon, and Earth as the average distance of the sun and the moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters.

The ritual of practicing 108 Sun Salutations is one of our favorite moving meditation practices. This practice is used to connect the body, mind, and universe, specifically when nature is undergoing a change. It provides us with a foundation to start again, fresh, renewed and inspired.

Come enjoy this beautiful practice, led by Jamie King, to cleanse and refresh for the Spring Season with the community.

Remember:
- You are free to modify, amplify, and adjust the movements to meet your needs
- You are not required to complete all 108 Sun Salutations but we'd love for you to stay on your mat with us, if you can

Join us for a unique and immersive experience as we blend the practice of yin yoga with the soothing sounds of live cello music.

Sarasvati will guide a series of yin yoga poses, each held for several minutes to allow for deep stretching and relaxation of the connective tissues in the body. As you move through the poses, Harlan Silverman will play live cello to provide a calming and meditative soundtrack, helping to create a sense of peace and tranquility.

This lovely spring practice is designed to increase relaxation, and promote mindfulness and emotional processing.  Come prepared to move slowly, breathe deeply and let go of tension as you immerse yourself in the beautiful sounds of live cello.
